What was the first miracle of Jesus?

The wedding in Cana.
Marriages is so important and special that its where his first miracle came about.

John 2:1-11English Standard Version (ESV) (source Biblegateway.com)

The Wedding at Cana

On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus also was invited to the wedding with his disciples. When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.” And Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
Now there were six stone water jars there for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons.[a] Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. And he said to them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast.” So they took it. When the master of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom 10 and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then the poor wine. But you have kept the good wine until now.” 11 This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory. And his disciples believed in him.
______________

What a lovely miracle. Jesus being invited to your marriage means that you allow him to intervene in times of trouble and in times of happiness. And secondly, he multiplied unlimited wine to this kind of wedding. And he would also do the same if you invite him in yours.

Marriage is sweet and a place where God would continue to show his love through you and your spouse and later on to your children. So when you are about to take a vow or if you are already married, take your marriage a priority. Let your beloved win and pray about him/her daily. My marriage isn't perfect but it is as lovely as I could ever ask for. Its a sanctuary of God's true love for me than whenever problems arise he intervenes for us. And I do hope the best of grace on yours.

So whether to have wine on your wedding or not?

Is it necessary?

Well... As for this blog. I would have to say yes.
When you are short on budget do you need plenty well no. Just 1 or 2 would do the trick. One for the couple and the other  on the sponsor's table.

Just like wine that tastes better as the years go by and so should a marriage. Wine must be like marriages. And to top it all off remember where his  very first miracle of Jesus was in a wedding.
