Buhay Studyante

Its 2013! And I haven't even notice its February. Time runs faster than anyone I know.  I have never been so busy and yet so happy in my life. At 26 years old, I'm taking my MBA, Working an 8-5 job and trying to visualize my wedding.

Multi-tasking is something that I'm good at. But this time, I am keeping God's principle of rest. He rested on the 7th day when he did everything and I thinks its a lesson for all of us. Rest on the Sabbath. Nothing but rest. So when I'm tired, I don't force myself and stay up all night. ^ ^,

I'm trying to practice that. Life has been great!

I am consistent with my exercise for my health too.

Running                                                           YOGA

Swimming and also some cardio work-out.

Lately, Meditation music has been my bestfriend. I play it in the morning and before I go to sleep. Unless I came from School.

I recommend http://www.musicalrelaxation.com.

Calming down and meditation gives benefits to our health.

As for now, I plan to look ahead and continue to achieve my goals. I hope you too are in a very
good place in your life right now.

Eastern and Western Governance
“The Four Ideographs of Marinoff, Pre-Spanish Governance in the Philippines
Philippine Governance and Leading with Cultural Intelligence by Livermore

Debating is something that I have enjoyed to do in the past.
Eloquence and meeting people through intellectual conversations has fascinated me.
But there is no debating on who the better people, the better culture nor the better government is.
Simply because there is none. In the award winning essay of Patricia Evangelista,
a columnist and a former debater of UP Diliman, “Blonde and Blue Eyes” she speaks about the
trend of Filipinos even kids wanting to move out of the country for better opportunities.
We compare ourselves with other countries saying that if I go abroad, I’ll be happier,
I’ll be richer and I will have less problems. But most often than not, we hear about the hardships.
We read about the OFWs who are having a hard time in a foreign land in different
 Filipino Migrant magazines.

I think that one way to eradicate problem is to stop debating within ourselves that foreign is better.
Instead, be happy and cherish what we have. Travel the country, enjoy the culture and work or
own a business in the country.

As for me, I plan to stay. I love the Philippines
I love the country. I love what I have. And though I appreciate the minds and culture of the West,
practice co-asian idealism like feng shui or yoga, I’ll be proud to live a life in the Philippines.
 Have a business that supports the local industry in the future. And point out government flaws with friends;
hope that it will get better; and continue loving Senator Miriam Defensor. I choose not to focus on the
negatives, nor compare with the West. I am open to the government initiating projects that are successful
from the Western countries. But what if we have a better solution or a better system that will work for us?
