Why we (women) should let men carry our luggage.
♫ All the women who are independent / Throw your hands up at me / All the honeys who makin' money / Throw your hands up at me♫ - Destiny's Child.

We like the feeling of being independent. And sino ba, Even I myself is proud on being independent.
Gone are the days when we let men save us as our knight and shining armors.

But admit it. Anu ba talaga ang gusto natin?! If the men does not step up. Galit din tayo. When they relax at home galit din tayo. But sometimes when they ask us to help we say no thanks. I can handle it.

Admitting that we cannot do everything takes humility.

And letting men carry our luggage encourages them to be the gentlemen God wants them to be.

Earn Money
7 Things Why I don't do diet

1. I do not like the feeling of deprivation.

BUT......... I eat in moderation. I will not sit on that couch and eat a 2,000 calorie bag
of sweets and goodies.

2. I don't believe in small portions...

BUT..... I do believe in eating right, taking balance meals and Thanking God
for the food that makes my tummy happy.

3. After deprivation, Fat storage follows.

4. I love to eat.

5. I like Yoga and Exercise. Though I am not perfect as I forget to exercise sometimes. I love
    the after feeling of victory.

6. I'm vegetarian. Eating a lot still equals to less calories.

7. Food are blessings. :)

The Black Swan - What I think about it is that...

Finally! There is a movie centered on a Ballerina's life's and aspirations.

Then I watched it and found out she has problems. One that is inside her head.

Natalie Portman is my favorite actress. Hello Padme days in Star Wars.
Then I found out she's pretty smart to. She graduated in Harvard in 2003 with a degree in Psychology.

Then comes the controversy on how much Mila Kunis and herself needs to lose weight for their roles.

All in all, I wish there'd be more great ballet movies so that people would know how dedicated
Ballerinas are. And how much passion they put into their craft.

Who wants to be a Millionaire... a Billionaire?!
Now that's a a question we all wanna say YES! ME ME ME ME ME!

 (Both hands up!)

with this expression:

Let's include our families and friends in answering that question shall we?!

"We all do! Us! We wanna become rich!

^ ^,

For those who know me well, I read a lot of encouraging books. Specially that I do not
have a TV at home. That my friend, is the most beneficial result of that. So let me summarize
all that I have read for you and hopefully we both achieve enough.

I'm glad for my continuing wisdom though. I can say I'm not greedy. But I'm also frugal at a level.

Though I don't dream of being uber rich for that might result problems, I do want a comfortable life.
Not extravagant that I buy overly expensive stuff for no reason and become blinded of material things. But a life of modesty and success on God's provisions. A flowing grace upon his mercy.

Matagal pa ata until I reach to that xxxxxxxxxx  digits in my bank account.
But I do believe my God wants me successful. And so do with you. He doesn't want you poor!
He promised a land of Milk and Honey. He had brought his people out of misery, out of Egypt.
He wants us successful I believe. And as a Child of God. There is nothing impossible for him to give us.

Just to clarify things Filipinos are into this: Blessed are the poor for theirs is the kingdom of God.
ummm...  I think ... this talks about (for me) equality of
God's love and affection for all of us. Walang mayaman walang mahirap. So... now that that's clear.

LET'S BEGIN.

1. "Bawal maging Masipag" / Don't be a too hardworking/Workaholic - John Calub quoating Jack Canfield (Author of Chicken Soup and different inspirational books.
His example was: A jeepney driver is so hardworking. He runs a one-man show when he works.
Wakes up really early and all. But the financial returns are very meek.

Make Money work for you!  - I've heard this a million times! From my Dad, my teachers, Classmates
               and everyone else.

             How?
                             a. INVEST
                             b. BUSINESS
                             c. Look for other means of income generating ways

And as my two friends say (Marlyn and Eric), Living on Interest.

2. Do something about it - CHANGE!
My motto in life is" I MAKE MY OWN DESTINY"

If you will not do something about it, then who will?

                             a. Improve your skills
                             b. Dreamer vs. Achiever

3. Pay attention - According to Jack Canfield in his book The Success Principles we need to pay attention
if something is working or not.
Then we know when to proceed, turn our back or try something else.
We accept and try again. Without complaining. Sabi nga ng cadets sa PMA: OBSERVE.

4. SAVE - Duh! Even if you earn 1 million dollars a day but you spend it even before you hold it then its
useless. In the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, We should learn how to say no.
                 So say No to temptations.

Also, our savings formula should be: Income-Savings = Expenses

Makes a lot of sense right?

5. SHARE - When we have a few, share. If we have a lot more, SHARE MORE
Help People. According to Kuya Nico, one of the young leaders in my church (GRCF in Dian, Makati) Do it simply because masarap tumulong. And even if that's already
satisfying enough, your help comes back a thousand folds. And you give that
to God's treasury. If people forgets, God doesn't. It goes straight to his treasury.
And he sends bountiful blessings for us. But  of
course you should have a happy heart when
                     helping.

How can you share when you yourself have sooo little?

Every Sunday do you hesitate to give?

When you see a beggar to you look away and say to yourself  "Sindikato lang yan".

♫ Its not about the money money money ♫
(A song mentioned by Kuya Nico of GRCF)

Now, this things are pretty general and you question when do you start really?
So here are things I can suggest that you can try.

1. Access yourself - Write down your expenses. Where are you now in terms of financial success?
In terms of Career? Or your priorities?

THEN... MAKE A DREAM BOARD
then post it somewhere you see often.

Here's an example I found on the internet by: Creativelifearts.com

2. Get yourself an insurance. - Late nlng to nadiscover ng mga pinoy. That is why today accdg. to
Insular Life 1 out of 10 retired Filipino are independently financing themselves.
The rest lives with their kids and asks them for money and medicines.
And some are beggars or lives in homes for the elderly.

Let's not let that happen to ourselves. Time is ticking!

Get an insurance! I recommend AXA! Really big returns.
But if you want a more affordable yet stable company you can go
with Sun Life Financial. (This is just base on my personal experience)

3. Build your nest - SAVE - No explanation needed.
However most of  the books I read talked about building this first.
And keeping an emergency fund. In case something happens, you have
something liquid and accessible any minute.

In one of the seminars I attended before, they said.
Anung difference ng isang tambay sa isang ngtratrabaho kung pareho naman
                                         silang walang savings?

4. Invest in the Stock Market - My friends Eric and Abel, introduced me to BPI Trade.
You can just register here and then let the game begin.
It depends if your a high risk taker or not.
As for me, I see this both for short and long term purposes.

5. Do whatever it is that makes you happy/fulfilled.
                               - People ask if they are in a place where God wants them to be.
Well... God wants you in a place where you are happy and fulfilled.
Ex: Some people become missionaries, they sell everything
then go on an adventure to help people in remote areas. Not rich
but are they happy? Yes! Then that's your answer. When we don't
answer to our calling we are miserable.

How many stories have we heard about someone successful in the
corporate world resigns and then starts to make crafts or music
and then one day boom! This person is at his/her happiest. Or richest
                                                     even.

Our fairy tales told us to follow our dreams, and they have a point!

If you want to become a CEO/COO then go for it. Just don't forget
where you came from and don't hesitate to share.

6. Enjoy your life. Enjoy your family - Telenovelas tell us what happens to greedy people right?!
                                                         haha.
Secondly, we work for our families. So lets not consume ourselves
with work. Reward ourselves. Travel. Meet friends.

7. Share. Offer to help.

There you have it!
God Bless to all of us.

and Cheers to our success.

the far away land called Mindanao.

But anyways... last February our friends

*Jen Tio
and
*Jorey Nicholas

1 hour

or parang less than  1 hour nga e.

so with untied shoelaces and crazy hairs. we ran as fast as we could to ....

                      (Wait for it...)
                                                                             Baguio General Hospital.

haha. Yes, you read it right.

From PMA Alumni Homecoming we ran to this beautiful park of BGH.
Biruin mo ba naman, February. Panagbenga na nga Alumni Homecoming pa.
Super daming tao.

Yun nlng ung hidden park na we hoped walang tao.
So we have to make do and as always
God is so faithful to provide what we needed.

A park which provided a good venue for the shoot.
And yes hindi sya crowded! ^ ^.

Eto na ang pictures and some of my the few  inspirational photos

but it shows in my eyes here. ^ ^. (Close)

I am so grateful for the Lord my God
who has given me a Great Man
